This costume drama features England's splendid Renaissance dynasty under King Henry VIII. Beginning when Henry VIII was growing desperate for an heir and growing distant from his second wife Anne Boleyn.

 

We look at the potential scenes played out between Queen Elizabeth 1st and her Scots cousin Mary Stuart. Finishing with the turbulent years of ‘Bloody Mary’ (Queen Mary Tudor).
