Life is dull, grey and occasionally a muted shade of brown in the Kingdom of Garment. Everyone is starving and they are only allowed to wear rags. Unless of course you live in the Palace or you are the…Emperor himself. The Emperor is dressed for the occasion, as he always is. The Emperor must always be the best dressed, as everyone in the Kingdom of Garment knows, it’s what’s on the outside that counts.
And that is how it will always be…or is it?
Peter and Thomas, two extraordinarily ordinary boys to whom nothing exciting has ever happened EVER! Well, that is until they show up on in the market of Stitch, in the city of Tunic, in the Kingdom of Garment in a very unlucky way at a very unlucky time.
When the Emperor and his not so trusted advisors find them dressed in colourful clothing they threaten to throw the boys in prison forever. So the clever boys tell the Emperor that they are the best weavers and tailors in the world and they will fashion the Emperor and his court in magical clothing with a very unique property. The greedy Emperor agrees and Peter, Thomas and some unlikely friends, Rory and Pinkle, set to work on the biggest con in history, to fool the Emperor, his horrible daughters Drusilla and Francesca, his scary wife Vanity and his ridiculous advisors in order to save the Kingdom, its people and most importantly, themselves.
