SYNOPSIS
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is a play by Edward Albee first staged in 1962. It examines the complexities of the marriage of a middle-aged couple, Martha and George. Late one evening, after a university faculty party, they receive an unwitting younger couple, Nick and Honey, as guests, and draw them into their bitter and frustrated relationship.
You may recall the popular film which starred Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. A very powerful script and we have the best of actors to play these roles.

In fact, we have two women playing the role of “Martha” (the role Elizabeth Taylor won an Oscar for). The two “Martha’s” will share performances. This will be interesting for our audiences to see two completely different ways of playing the role plus give the rest of the cast some interesting challenges. When we auditioned, it really was too difficult to choose between these two fine actress’s so I went to bed and slept on it and dreamt of having two “Martha’s”. When I woke, I had the answer.
