SYNOPSIS:

A Ruby Christmas is a colourful sequel to our Christmas show last December.

A family fun filled event with timeless songs like “Frosty the Snowman”, “Rockin around the Christmas Tree”, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and many more!

Also this year, we will have two short 10 minute Christmas plays:
- The Great Christmas Carol Mix Up
- Olaf Saves Christmas

If you want a solo, you will need to perform a Christmas song of your choice.
If you wish to sing as an ensemble/group you will need to prepare a short song choice. Please also let Anthony know if you would like to audition for the Christmas plays.

THE GREAT CHRISTMAS CAROL MIXUP
SYNOPSIS
In The Great Christmas Carol Mix-Up, a group of students prepares for their school's big holiday concert, but everything goes hilariously wrong. With forgotten lyrics, missing props and one very confused snowman, the rehearsal turns into chaos. Just when things seem hopeless, the cast decides to embrace the mix-ups and turn their performance into a festive comedy. It’s a joyful celebration of music, mishaps and holiday spirit.

Director of the carol show (serious but frazzled).
 

Jay/Jessie - M/F, 12 - 18
Excitable cast member, always gets lyrics wrong.
 

Max/Mel- M/F, 12 - 18
Knows all the songs but takes it too seriously.
 

Emma- F, 12 - 18
Stage manager, very organised.
 

Sam - F, 12 - 18
Tries to help but causes chaos.
 

Frosty - M, 12 - 18

OLAF SAVES CHRISTMAS
SYNOPSIS
When Olaf and Sven find a dramatically injured Rudolph just hours before Santa’s big flight, it’s a race to save Christmas! With help from frantic elves, a sassy squirrel, and the Claus couple, Sven—despite his questionable track record—is tapped to lead the sleigh. With a glowing nose and Olaf’s support, can he shine in time?

Dramatic, injured red-nosed reindeer.

Grumpy, sarcastic elf who always expects the worst - but still shows up

and does their job.

 

Pinecone - M, Any age
A talkative squirrel with attitude.

Mrs. Claus - F, 40+
Smart, sweet, takes charge.

 

Other Elves - M/F, Any age
2-3 who help prepare the sleigh and tend to Rudolf.
